NEW: President Mnangagwa presides over Lupane State University’s 16th graduation ceremony

PRESIDENT MNANGAGWA will today preside over Lupane State University (LSU)’s 16th graduation ceremony at the main campus in Lupane, Matabeleland North province.

Established in 2004, LSU has an enrolment of 4 000 students, with over 70 programmes in six faculties.

The faculties include Agricultural Sciences, Environmental and Life Sciences, Commerce and Humanities and Social Sciences.

The university employs a staff complement of over 600 and operates from its main campus in Lupane.

Thousands are already seated at the main venue, while family and friends of the graduands are trickling in.

LSU on its feet…..The Lupane State University choir is joined by the Zimbabwe National Army band in song and dance at the LSU graduation ceremony.
