NEW: Zimbabwe launches 16 days of activism against GBV

ZIMBABWE will today launch the 2025 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign, raising awareness among communities to act decisively against the rising cases of violence targeting women and girls.

The campaign, which runs from 25 November to 10 December, is being led by the Ministry of Women Affairs, Community, Small and Medium Enterprises Development in partnership with UN agencies and civil society organisations.

This year’s campaign will run under the theme “United to end digital violence against all women and girls”.

The launch sets the tone for 16 days of intensified action, calling for meaningful change and lasting protection for all women and girls in Zimbabwe.
