Proprietor of Nexus night club Dr Qhubani Moyo has refused to apologise to artistes that “claim” to have been ill-treated at his premises.

This follows  Nexus management’s fallout with Hip Hop rapper Noluntu J as well as Fab G, who were among performers at a show held last Friday, which was headlined by AmaPiano vocalist MaWhoo.

According to Noluntu J, herself and Fab G were treated like “trash” and were made to beg for services that were agreed on their contracts as performers prior to the show.

Taking to Facebook, where the issue is burning, Moyo said he cannot apologise to people who want to solve their issues through social media.
“What do you want us to do? Glorify and worship artistes who use social media rants to compensate for their bad performance on stage and inability to connect with their audiences.
“We cannot allow arrogant artistes to dictate how we do things in our establishment. We are in business and not charity.
“We will not allow anyone to try hold us at ransom over nothing. Akulanto esiyixolisayo to anyone ngoba asenzanga lutho olubi. Some of these artistes making noise can’t even fill their own sitting room for a show .Those who want to boycott Nexus are more than free to do so,” said Moyo on Facebook.

The issue seems to be escalating as Noluntu J is planning to host her own gig to prove that she has followers.
