NGO officially launches Mash East circuit

Sound Prosperity Zimbabwe, a non-governmental organisation (NGO) which focuses on improving the lives of the poor through community engagement and transformative initiatives, this weekend officially launched its Mashonaland East provincial circuit.

The launch was held in Marondera, where various provincial Government heads and stakeholders attended and gave their solidarity messages in support of the non-governmental organisation’s initiatives aimed at improving the lives of the marginalised.

Sound Prosperity Zimbabwe started operating last year after setting up offices in Bulawayo.

Last Friday, the organisation opened the first of its provincial offices in Marondera, where thousands of people in the province have already benefited from its programmes.

In her remarks during the official launch, Founder of Sound Prosperity Zimbabwe Ms Irene Schoots applauded the beneficiaries of the organisation for being focused and working hard in improving their lives and transforming the communities they live in.

She said Sound Prosperity Zimbabwe’s objectives are to ensure that the less privileged and the marginalised work to transform their communities.

“Sound Prosperity Marondera reached out to thousands of people and set up many teams, who are now operating on their own, all self-reliant small businesses,” she said.

She encouraged thousands of members who attended the launch to work hard and also encourage other people to join the organization and work for their communities.

In her remarks, director of Sound Prosperity Marondera, Mrs Kumbirai Kundiona, commended the people of Mashonaland East for working tirelessly under Sound Prosperity saying their efforts are already bearing fruit.
