Nketa community for annual Ndoro memorial tournament

THE Nketa community in Bulawayo has joined hands to celebrate one of its legendary figure the late Tendai “Fire” Ndoro, a former Wariiors, Orlando Pirates and Chicken Inn striker by having his memorial tournament that will be held on December 21 and 22.
The late Ndoro was an inspirational figure nationally and internationally who did a lot for the game.

“Against this background beginning this year, the Nketa community will be running annual tournament to his honour. The main purpose is to celebrate his life and legacy hoping from the initiative other starless can be identified for forward and grooming by professional teams,” said the tournament’s organising secretary Kuda Mupatsi.

His sentiments were echoed by the contest’s manager Ntando Dube who said they are expecting 12 to 16 teams to take part in the two day event.
