Rising songstress Noluntu J is taking fans on a nostalgic journey with her latest single, Top Seven, which draws inspiration from childhood memories and games shared with her peers.

Produced by Thekidsnextdoor at Kulture Studios and recorded by engineer JayTweny8, the track is more than just a nod to the past, it is a love song that encourages girls to pursue their dreams and take charge of their desires.
“The song was inspired by the game EmaTop 7 that we used to play back in primary school. I turned it into a love song as I wanted to challenge the narrative that says it’s not okay for girls to ask guys out,” Noluntu J explained.
“I wanted to charm my male fans through the song, and more importantly, encourage my female fans to go for what they want and not die inside,” she added.
Top Seven follows a string of successful performances, including Noluntu J’s standout appearances at the Jacaranda Music Festival and the Sofa Harare show, where she wowed audiences with her energy and stage presence.
“I performed at the Sofa show, and the audience was very warm and receptive. It made me feel good about myself as a musician and reminded me how much I’ve grown as an artiste.” – Follow on X: @mthabisi_mthire
