NOO PROBLEM

KOBBIE MAINOO could have plenty of options should he leave Manchester United in the January transfer window.

The midfielder has seen his playing time cut at Old Trafford since the arrival of Ruben Amorim last season.

Mainoo, 20, is yet to start a game in the Premier League this season and has come off the bench 11 times.

His older brother Jordan was even spotted wearing a “free Kobbie Mainoo” shirt during the 4-4 draw against Bournemouth last night.

Amorim has continued to persist with a midfield duo of Bruno Fernandes and Casemiro instead of playing Mainoo.

The Portuguese coach has claimed that the Englishman should learn from Casemiro to boost his chances of earning minutes.

Mainoo may opt to leave the Red Devils in the new year, with multiple clubs reportedly in the queue for his signature.

SunSport has taken a look at each of his options should he make the jump in the new year.

Bayern Munich

The Bundesliga giants are also in the running for his signature and have been linked with Mainoo since January.

A move to Bayern Munich would see him link up with England captain Harry Kane.

Mainoo has not played for the Three Lions since Thomas Tuchel‘s appointment and it could boost his 2026 World Cup hopes.

Chelsea

Paul Scholes has told Mainoo that he should jump at the chance to join the West London outfit.

The Blues have been targeting young talents since the takeover by BlueCo in a new transfer strategy and Mainoo would fit that bill.

Mainoo moving to Chelsea would see him become team-mates with Alejandro Garnacho again after the winger was signed in the summer.

Real Madrid

Mainoo could be used as part of a deal that would see United sign Federico Valverde from Real Madrid.

Spanish media claimed that Mainoo was offered to Los Blancos as part of a swap deal for the Uruguayan ace.

United also added £44million in cash alongside the midfielder in their ambitious bid. Sun
