Reality TV star and podcaster Nozipho Ntshangase, best known for her appearance on The Mommy Club, recently opened up to her followers about an important and personal decision — she’s about to undergo surgery. Nozipho took to Instagram to share her thoughts and emotions as she packed her hospital bag, preparing for the big day.
In a heartfelt video, Nozipho shared that this step is part of her ongoing self-love journey.
“I’m getting ready to go do my procedure, which I’m not going to reveal just yet,” she said.
“I’ve been on this self-love journey, and I think after having my last three kids and just going through things in general, I just struggled with loving myself and my confidence just went down the drain.”
Nozipho candidly opened up about how her body changed over the years, especially after giving birth to five children, including a set of twins. She admitted that she hasn’t been able to exercise as often as she would have liked and that insecurities began to build up.
“I’ve had four pregnancies which resulted in five kids… and so I gained weight and just wasn’t exercising as often as I would’ve wanted. There’s just been a whole lot of insecurities,” she said.
Wanting to take charge of her life again, Nozipho decided it was time to work on both her inner healing and outer transformation.
“I thought, why not do the work on myself and do the outer and the inner work at the same time,” she shared. “I did my research and I contacted the right surgeon that I wanted. He’s really amazing and put me at ease during the consultations.”
Though she has chosen to keep the exact details of the procedure private for now, Nozipho promised her fans that she will be documenting her journey and will eventually share more.
“This is what I’ve been up to, and this is my journey. I will do my procedure day video as well,” she said, beaming with excitement.
After announcing her surgery, Nozipho also took to Instagram to thank her followers for their support.
“Thank you to everyone for the well wishes on my procedure announcement post yesterday. I’m sorry I can’t get to all the messages at this moment, but I wanted to let you know that I saw each and every one of your messages. Thank you again,” she wrote.
Just before heading into surgery, Nozipho also shared a nervous yet hopeful update from her hospital bed. “Hey guys, I’m about to go in for surgery. I am so nervous, but at the same time I’m trusting God, and I am very excited to see the outcome.”
