Organisers of the appreciation musical gala for living legend Bothwell Nyamhondera have announced a change of venue.

Originally scheduled to be held at the Harare International Conference Centre (HICC), the gala will now take place at the 7 Arts Theatre on Saturday.

Event coordinator Pastor Hermain Chimusoro confirmed the venue change but insisted that the line-up remains unchanged.
It features Alick Macheso, Somandla Ndebele, Pastor Charles Charamba and his wife Olivia, Mai Respina Patai, and US-based reggae artist King Isaac.

In a statement Wednesday afternoon, Chimusoro said:

“Due to circumstances beyond our control, the Bothwell Nyamhondera ‘Appreciation Gala’ will now be held at the 7 Arts Theatre in Avondale, Harare, on Saturday.

“Tickets are available from June 12-13, 2025, at Avondale 7 Arts.”
