A fatal road traffic accident occurred on Tuesday evening along Matopos Road in Bulawayo when a truck overturned, trapping two people.
Bulawayo Chief Fire Officer Mr Mhlangano Moyo confirmed that Fire Brigade teams responded swiftly to the scene. Three ambulances were deployed, and emergency personnel worked to extricate the trapped victims from the wreckage.
One person was confirmed dead at the scene, while the second victim was rescued and attended to by ambulance crews on site. The condition of the survivor has not yet been disclosed.
