ZIMBABWE will host one of its biggest spiritual events when Pastor Benny Hinn’s healing crusade is held from October 10-12 in Harare.
Dr Marie J Doorn, the International Mission and Crusade Director for Benny Hinn Ministries, arrived in Harare on Tuesday to oversee and lead the groundwork for the crusade.
In an interview, Dr Doorn said the event was about sharing the word of God.
“It’s wonderful to be here. I’m here on behalf of Pastor Benny, of course. This is a time-changing event for the nation.
‘‘We want the best for this nation and we pray that everyone involved will be blessed.
“So, the message for Pastor Benny is that he’s very excited about coming to Zimbabwe. He feels that this is going to be a very important time for him.
“And, we are all praying, not only him but the whole ministry, we are all praying for this nation and for what God is preparing for this nation,” she said.
Dr Doorn said Pastor Benny wants to join hands and help churches around Zimbabwe.
“Established churches have gone through all their time, however hard or pleasant it was, we all go through hard times. And when you start a ministry, it’s always very difficult.
“So, I really encourage them, I am thankful to God for them, each and every one of them for doing what they have done to help this nation to gain salvation and the knowledge of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
“And, all Pastor Benny wants to do is to come and join hands with them and just let the Lord bless and minister to the land, to the nation, to the church leaders, to the government of this land and all of its people,” she said.
Dr Doorn will be on the ground to lead key meetings, inspect preparations at the Miracle Grounds and coordinate logistics for what promises to be one of the most impactful healing and miracle crusades ever hosted in Zimbabwe.
