Pauline ready for closed-door interviews

Miss Supranational contestant, Pauline Marere, says competition is heating up as models are preparing for closed-door interviews ahead of the finals on June 28 in Poland.

After a series of challenges, the contestants are now gearing up for closed-door interviews and the highly anticipated top model competition, is just one day away.

The 16th edition of the beauty pageant will see more that 70 queens from around the world battle for the crown in Malopolska, Poland.

The closed-door interviews will test the models’ confidence, personality, and charisma, as they face a panel of judges who will scrutinize their every word and action.

At the beauty pageant, Pauline has made it into the top three of the Suprachat. She is also the Suprachat top 20 influencer winner.

In an interview with Zimpapers Arts and Entertainment Hub, Pauline said she is confident ahead of the closed-door interviews as someone, who has been in the industry for the public speaking.

“I had always been a great speaker since childhood, but l had to look for a coach who helped me to polish my public speaking skills and prepared me to tackle questions.

“I also watched previous Supra chats on YouTube so that l could be well informed. The stakes are high, and the contestants are bringing their A-game I am hoping to impress the judges and secure a spot in the top model competition.

“The competition is great; we are now getting ready for closed door interviews and top model competition in two days,” she said.

She added:

“As we prepare for the next stage of the competition, everyone is focused on perfecting their craft and showcasing their unique strengths and qualities. With only a few days to go, the tension is palpable, and the anticipation is building.

“It’s my first time to break through into the five biggest platforms and I am looking forward to using all the experience I have acquired throughout my journey.

“I am so excited to be in Europe, and this is my first time,” she said.

Pauline became the first Zimbabwean to win both the semi-final and final round of the Suprachat.

Pauline bagged the Miss Pan African Queen title in 2019 and was the second runner-up at the Miss Environment International in 2023.

Miss Supranational is an annual international beauty pageant that focuses on grace, natural beauty, and promoting tourism and goodwill. It was established in 2009.

The pageant also involves charitable work and aims to discover new talent for the modeling and television industries.
