Emerging house artiste Teddie_Music is on a mission to expand beyond his hometown of Plumtree and make his mark in the wider music industry.

Born Mthandazo Tedias Ndlovu, the musician is set to release his debut EP, December, later this year, a project he hopes will solidify his presence in Zimbabwe’s vibrant music scene.

Since dropping his first single, “Say No to Drugs”, in 2021 under Roxtonic Media, Teddie_Music’s music has resonated with fans for its relatable messages drawn from everyday life experiences.

His debut EP, December, features three tracks: December, Dance, and a bonus track from his previous releases.
“December is a feel-good anthem that sets the tone for an uplifting listening experience, while Dance is a high-energy track guaranteed to get you moving. The bonus track gives fans a chance to experience my growth and evolution as an artist,” he said.

The artiste shared how his passion for music was shaped by his upbringing.
“Growing up, I was surrounded by music. My parents were both music lovers, and our home was always filled with different genres and styles. I started playing the piano at a young age and later explored other instruments and music production software,” said Teddie_Music.

“My interest in art came from the creative freedom it offered. Music allows me to express myself, tell stories, and evoke emotions. I draw inspiration from artists like Heavy K, Black Coffee, and Lizwi.”

Looking ahead, Teddie_Music plans to perform at local shows and festivals and is keen on collaborating with other artistes and producers to further expand his sound. – Follow on X: @mthabisi_mthire
