The visiting Zambian President, Hakainde Hichilema, has arrived at the Museum of African Liberation to appreciate the work being carried out by Zimbabwe to set up a complex that tells the true African story.

He is accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Professor Amon Murwira.

“We are truly grateful to Zimbabwe for recognising Zambia. This is a great honour from a brother,” said President Hakainde.

President Hichilema highlighted that the African story should be told by African people.

“We want our children to learn and understand African history. African people should be identified by their own history,” he said.

He implored Africans to be proud of their own culture.
