President Mnangagwa has arrived at Somhlolo National Stadium, where he will attend King Mswati III’s 40th anniversary on the throne and his 58th birthday celebrations.

The celebrations are being attended by thousands of Swati people from across the country.

Heads of state and government from the region attending the event include Botswana’s President, Advocate Duma Boko, and Lesotho’s King Letsie III, among several other representatives from countries around the world.

President Mnangagwa’s attendance further strengthens bilateral ties between the two countries. Last year, the President attended Eswatini’s 57th Independence celebrations and officially opened the Eswatini International Trade Fair.

King Mswati III officially opened the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) in 2023.
