Zanu PF First Secretary, President Mnangagwa has said it is the responsibility of every Central Committee member to ensure that Government’s national objectives to attain Vision 2030 are attained as mandated by the party.
He said the Central Committee is a principal organ of the party in between Congress.
President Mnangagwa said this today while delivering a keynote address during the Zanu PF Central Committee seminar in Gweru.
“This strategic seminar for members of the Central Committee is convened to strengthen and broaden our leadership capacity, ideological clarity as well as reinforce collective responsibility and discipline.

“I want to emphasise that this gathering is not for show. It is a platform for honest introspection and renewal,” said President Mnangagwa.
He said Central Committee members have the duty to consolidate people-centred governance.
“We have the inherent duty to unite our people towards development that lifts many more out of poverty. Our actions and decisions have ripple effects on the realisation of Vision 2030 and our country’s destiny,” said President Mnangagwa.
He said the need for self introspection is imperative.
“Let’s ask ourselves if we are committed to working for the people in an honest way.
“Remain steadfast with the party. We must boldly ask ourselves whether we are loyal and patriotic in dealing with the masses. The trust bestowed on us should be approached with soberness.
“The party is bigger than all of us. We must exercise self discipline and decorum,” said President Mnangagwa.
