PRESIDENT Mnangagwa has re-assigned three Cabinet ministers in a move announced on Wednesday evening, with the changes taking immediate effect.
Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services Minister, Dr Jenfan Muswere, has been moved to the Ministry of Skills Audit and Development. He swaps portfolios with Professor Paul Mavima, who now takes over as Minister of National Housing and Social Amenities.

Dr Zhemu Soda, who previously headed the Ministry of National Housing and Social Amenities, has been appointed the new Minister of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services.
The re-assignments were made in terms of Section 104 (1) of the Constitution of Zimbabwe, which empowers the President to appoint and re-assign ministers.

Chief Secretary to the President and Cabinet, Dr Martin Rushwaya, confirmed the changes in a statement.
“In terms of Section 104, subsection (1) of the Constitution of Zimbabwe, His Excellency the President, Cde Dr Emmerson Mnangagwa, has re-assigned the under-listed ministers as follows: Honourable Dr Jenfan Muswere as Minister of Skills Audit and Development; Honourable Professor Paul Mavima as Minister of National Housing and Social Amenities; and Honourable Dr Zhemu Soda as Minister of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services,” said Dr Rushwaya.
