LEARNERS at Jairos Jiri Association’s 16 centres across Zimbabwe have received more than 8 000 exercise books in a donation aimed at improving access to education and promoting dignity, creativity and empowerment for children with disabilities.
The official handover ceremony, held in Harare, underscored the importance of inclusive education as a foundation for community development and learner-centred education under the mantra, “leaving no one and no place behind”.
Printflow chief executive officer Mr Fungai Kovhiwa, who was represented by commercial director Ms Roseline Chisveto, said the donation marked the beginning of a long-term partnership to support the educational needs of learners at Jairos Jiri centres.
He aligned corporate responsibility with the school’s mission of inclusion and empowerment.
“We do not want this to be just for today, but going forward you will be seeing more of Printflow coming through,” he said.
“The school has given every individual an opportunity to realise their full potential regardless of circumstances, and that resonates deeply with our belief that development must be people‑centred and that no one should be left behind.”

Jairos Jiri Primary School deputy headmaster Mr Silvester Makudza said that the donation was more than just supplies, but an investment in the future of children.
He noted that the resources would empower teachers and learners alike, fostering creativity and excellence.
“Stationery may seem simple, but in the hands of a child, it becomes a bridge to knowledge, a spark for imagination, and a foundation for lifelong learning,” he said.
“Your generosity reflects a commitment to community development and the belief that education is the most powerful investment in the future,” he said.
