Robert Mugabe Jnr fined, slapped with suspended jail sentence for drug possession

Robert Mugabe Jnr has been fined US$300 after being convicted of illegal possession of drugs.

Mugabe pleaded guilty to the offence earlier today when he appeared before Harare magistrate, Ms Lisa Mutendereki.

In addition to the fine, Mugabe was sentenced to three months’ imprisonment.

However, the jail term was wholly suspended on condition that he doesn’t commit a similar offence in the next five years.
