SAHWIRA Management Consultants will next month hold a business and expo, the first of its kind.
The expo, to be held on March 28 at Sakubva Stadium, will be running under the theme: “Enhancing Zim-Asset in Manicaland through peace, innovation and value edition.”
The expo, which will run from 7am to 6pm, is open to corporate, SMEs, tertiary institutions, schools, churches and cultural groups.
Sahwira Management Consultants’ lead consultant and organiser, Mr Charles Dahwa, said the expo was in line with Zim-Asset national economic recovery policy, which, among other key issues, encourages innovation and value addition. In this regard, the expo provides an innovation to showcasing a business’s products and services.
“First, SABUCE provides every exhibitor with a rare opportunity to showcase their leadership in quality products and services much earlier during the first quarter of the year, which is in March. The implication is that, unlike the traditional trade shows that normally takes place in the last quarter of the year, SABUCE affords every exhibitor an early bird competitive advantage in terms of marketing their products and services.
“Secondly, each exhibitor at SABUCE benefits from the time value of money. This is because each exhibitor has great potential to earn income from their exhibition marketing effort much earlier in the year.
In contrast, waiting to exhibit in the last quarter of the year inevitably results in revenue flows beginning to trickle much later in the following year 2016. Now as per financial management principles, a dollar now is worth much more than a dollar to be earned in future.
“Thirdly, every exhibitor at SABUCE exhibits on two fronts. To start with, every exhibitor showcases their products and services from their own stand. Further, the marketing executives from each exhibitor shall be given an opportunity to come to the central podium and address the packed Sakubva Stadium marketing their company brands.
“Fourthly, there is yet another possible third front for showcasing one’s brand. This is the “sponsorship front”, where a willing exhibitor can join Sahwira Management Consultants in awarding prizes to the winning schools and churches participating in the various cultural competitions.
“Fifthly, SABUCE provides a rare opportunity for business to market its products and services riding on the cultural values of the general public in attendance,” he said.
