Sandra Ndebele is thrilled to have been invited to participate in the 45th Uhuru gala, scheduled for April 18 at Mutora Grounds in Gokwe.
The Bulawayo-born dancer and singer expressed her excitement to the Zimpapers Arts and Entertainment Hub, saying she is raring to perform at the Independence gala.
“I can’t wait to perform in Gokwe, where the rural community has been yearning for such great events,” she said.
“It’s always a marvel to see people in rural areas being exposed to big stages, lights and powerful sound. These galas are more than just musical celebrations; they represent history being made in our country.”
Ndebele added, “I last performed in Gokwe over 10 years ago, and you can imagine how I feel being reunited with my fans there. We are going to deliver our best performance on the night in Gokwe.”
Running under the theme “Zim@ 45: Devolve and Develop Together towards Vision 2030,” the event promises to be a vibrant celebration of Zimbabwe’s freedom.
Sandra will share the stage with notable artists including Sulumani Chimbetu, Mark Ngwazi, Jah Master, Andy Muridzo, Chief Hwenje, Tendai Dembo, Sasha Madhuve and Argatha Murudzwa.
