Sanyangore lures musicians

Several musicians are reportedly flocking to Victory World International Ministries based in Mbare and led by Pastor Paul Sanyangore. Musicians Mathias Mhere, Tocky Vibes, Killer T and raunchy dancer Beverly Sibanda have reportedly visited the church. “Several musicians are coming to church service and if you come at our Sunday service you see different musicians here,” said a source.

He said though some were coming for performances some were coming seeking divine intervention.

“I have seen a number of musicians here and some are coming for performances but a lot of them are coming seeking divine intervention,” said the source.

Last week Tocky Vibes was also spotted at the church.

“Most dancehall stars are coming at this church and Tocky Vibes was here. This Sunday dancer Bev was here too. Some of the musicians who came here are Mathias Mhere and Killer T,” he said.

An official from the church Andy Sanyangore said they were just ministering the word of God and there was nothing wrong in musicians coming to the church.

“There is nothing wrong for musicians to come at the church. We are happy that they are coming to seek the word of God,” he said.

Tocky Vibes manager Elvis Bokosha professed ignorance over the issue yesterday.

“I only manage Tocky as an artist not his private life. You can contact him and get more details about that,” said Bokosha.

Efforts to get comment from the musician were fruitless.

Bev who made headlines for joining Prophet Magaya said she had gone for a church service.

“Yes I went there for a service and there was nothing wrong about that,” she said before hanging her mobile phone.

Sources said musicians were rushing there after the church announced the introduction of anointing oil, guest houses and prayer houses that were said to be targeted at celebrities.
