Talented musician Sasha Madhuve has expressed her eagerness to perform at national events.
As she prepares for this year’s Heroes Musical Gala, scheduled for August 12 at Kujeke Growth Point in Hwedza, Mashonaland East Province, Madhuve shared her thoughts in an interview with Zimpapers Arts and Entertainment Hub.
Madhuve expressed her excitement about performing in Hwedza alongside other stars. “Zimbabwe came from our blood. The spirit that led the founding fathers and mothers of this country to fight for our liberation I believe continues to guide us into the future.
“There is no better way of being a Patriotic Zimbabwean than being part of such national events. It is an honor to be part of the celebrations honouring our heroes dead or living. What they did is great and priceless.
“Believe me my performance will be nothing short of a Journey down memory lane of our struggle for independence. We are going to celebrate the comrades in the same spirit during my performance. It’s that moment when as Zimbabwe we should be one. My massage is clear ‘Handei tonosevenzera nyika’ and the music will say it all.
“Being a traditional musician someone who consults our ancestors for daily living I feel a strong connection with my heroes and heroins as they used the same communication with the ancestors of the land for guidance. It’s who we are we consult “masvikiro” . So we going to sing about the spiritual connection of Zimbabwean heroes.
“We have been planning for this event and I tell you it’s going to be fire. Expect the unexpected on the day. The spirit that led the founding fathers and mothers of this country to fight for our liberation I believe continues to guide us into the future.

The line-up includes notable artistes such as Mark Ngwazi, Andy Muridzo and Tendai Dembo, all of whom are set to delight revellers.
Other performers will include Clemence Magwaza, Allan Chimbetu, Mathias Mhere, Shantel Sithole, Jah Master, Clememce Magwaza, Jays Marabini, Machanic Manyeruke, Simon Mutambi, ZPCS Band, Mr Gray and Mainato
Energetic hype-man DJ Fantan, along with his Chillspot Family clique, including DJ Level and Ribhe, will also take the stage in Hwedza. Nduge Yut, who has gained recognition through this crew, will be joined by Jah Master and rising star Nisha Ts.
