SCARLETT STUDIOS ARE NAMA’S NEW EVENTS MANAGERS

THE National Arts Merit Awards (NAMA) have announced the new event managers for the 2026-2030 tenure.

This comes after the Jacaranda Culture and Media Corporation (JCMC) managed the NAMA for five years.The announcement was made by National Arts Council of Zimbabwe Communication and Marketing boss, Agga Nyabinde.

“NACZ is pleased to announce the appointment of Scarlet Studios, in partnership with Events Evolution, as the new event managers for the National Arts Merit Awards (NAMA),” said Nyabinde.

“Zimbabwe’s premier awards ceremony, NAMA, was established to celebrate artistic excellence and honour outstanding achievements in various categories of art. With their extensive experience in event management, Scarlet Studios and Events Evolution will bring a fresh perspective and innovative ideas to NAMA. They will work closely with the National Arts Council of Zimbabwe to ensure the event continues to exceed expectations and deliver an exceptional experience for attendees, nominees, and winners.” Headded:“Among the shortlisted companies who were invited to do a pitch presentation, Scarlet Studios and Events Evolution, were outstanding.

“They possess extensive skills, technical capacity and experience to produce the expected NAMA standard.”

Nyabinde encouraged all NAMA stakeholders to embrace and give them full support during their five-year term.

Scarlet Studios executive director, Reginald Matinanga, promised to deliver.

“It is good news to us and, as an organisation, we have a big mandate to carry on what has been left by our predecessors.

“So far so good and from June we will start the road to NAMA 2026.What NAMA means to us is that it is a great way to build the arts community.

“When people come together in real life, they have a shared experience and memories that can last for years.

“Even if you only have one event per year, it’s still worth the time and effort because it can help keep your brand relevant for years to come.”
