The third edition of the NetOne 263 Culture Festival promises to be a landmark event, bringing together artistes from Zimbabwe and South Africa.

The one-day festival will take place on Saturday at Thornpark Polo Club in Harare. The line-up features some of Southern Africa’s biggest names, including Scorpion Kings, Major League DJz, DJ Kent, De Mthuda, DJ Courageous, Ciza, DJ Tannie Swiss, A Reece, Moozlie, King 98, Nisha Ts, Saintfloew, Wowrae, and Atenda Chinx. Bulawayo-born superstar Vele Vele will serve as the MC for the event.

Creative director Tapfuma Nzara said this year’s festival aims to go beyond music, providing opportunities for emerging creatives in photography, videography, and performance.

“The festival was inspired by a desire to amplify Zimbabwean voices and music while creating a space for young artistes and creatives to learn, grow, and benefit from the industry. We also wanted to support the wider creative economy,” Nzara explained.

Nzara added that the line-up was carefully curated to reflect trends in the industry, combining established stars with fresh talent to deliver a dynamic experience.

“Fans should expect a memorable show filled with entertainment and non-stop dancing. It’s going to be a vibrant celebration of culture and creativity,” he said. – Follow on X: @mthabisi_mthire
