Seemah Mangolwane apologises to DJ Zinhle

Award-winning content creator and podcaster Seemah Mangolwane has apologised to DJ Zinhle after calling her husband, Bongani “Mörda” Mohosana, a “dog” while reacting to the cheating allegations that have been circulating online.

The “Spreading Humours” podcast co-host found herself in hot water earlier this week after commenting on the rumours shared by blogger Musa Khawula.

Khawula claimed that Mohosana had been unfaithful with a 22-year-old woman named Kimberly, who is said to work at a Johannesburg club.

The speculation quickly picked up on social media, with fans sharing their own views about the situation. During the episode, Mangolwane said she once believed Mohosana seemed like a decent man before adding her now-controversial line.

The comment did not sit well with DJ Zinhle, who decided to address it directly on TikTok.

In her video, the DJ shared how hurt she was by the content creator’s words and explained that it stung even more because she actually knew her.

She told her followers that she had been trying to ignore the noise around the cheating rumours, but this particular moment felt personal. She said what upset her the most was that she had supported Mangolwane’s business in the past and had spoken to her privately before.

She felt the podcaster could have reached out if she had concerns instead of publicly insulting her husband.

Following DJ Zinhle’s TikTok, Mangolwane took to the comment section to apologise.

She greeted Zinhle warmly and asked her to check her direct messages on Instagram.

She wrote, “Molo sis wam (hello my sister). Please do check your DMs on Instagram.

‘‘I will also make a public apology on the podcast.

‘‘I was angry, yes, but I should’ve still been respectful about it. Xolo sis wam (I’m sorry, my sister).”

She also promised to address the issue again on the next episode of “Spreading Humours”, which aired yesterday. – IOL
