Sensei Mugo laid to rest

Prominent fitness trainer Sensei Mugove Muhambi has been laid to rest at Epworth Cemetery.

Muhambi, who died in a road traffic accident on Saturday, has been described as a decorated sports personality and a unifier.

Thousands paid their respects with a funeral procession that locked traffic from his St Martins home via Seke Road to Chiremba Road.

Sports, Recreation, Arts, and Culture Minister, Lietenant General (Rtd) Anselem Sanyatwe, Deputy Minister Emily Jesaya and Finance and Economic Development Permanent Secretary George Guvamatanga also paid their last respects.

Sensei Mugo is survived by his wife and two children.
