WHAT the hell is really happening between Baba Harare and Handsome Gudo over the song ‘Sisi Viola’?

Baba Harare is set to release his song ‘Sisi Viola’ next week.

Baba Harare has been hyping his upcoming release.

Handsome Gudo has also released his song titled ‘Sisi Viola’.

He worked with Jnr Spragga and Ndunge Yuti on his song, which was released this week.

Handsome Gudo insists the song was created and released two years ago, before he ‘reinvented’ it in a new form.

He said he bought the rights of the song from Ndunge Yuti and Jnr Spragga two years ago.

“I bought the rights, conducted the song, and sang the outro, so that’s why the song is Handsome Gudo featuring Jnr Spragga and Ndunge Yuti.”

He said fans have taken to social media to debate the ownership of the song because both songs share the same title, and the same chorus.

He argues that their arrangement and execution are different.

“We released the song on July 19. Now social media is asking, who is the owner between us and Baba Harare?

“The song has the same title and the chorus is the same, but the way we did it is different.”

Handsome Gudo has also dismissed claims of theft.

“Many people are accusing us of stealing, but it was released by Jnr Spragga two years ago.

“I felt the song was good so I bought the rights, it’s like a hymn song, so anyone can sing it.

“I have no issues with Baba Harare but it’s just that fans want clarity.”

He believes this is just purely business and there is no conflict at all.

“Let Baba Harare release his own song. I have no problem.

“People are saying we stole the song but this is business.

“I don’t have any issues with Baba Harare, we are actually working on a project together.”

Handsome Gudo said if people check YouTube, they will see that the song was first posted two years ago.

“People can say whatever they are saying because if you go on YouTube, you can see the song we left there was posted two years ago.

“We left it deliberately so people can see,” he said.

Meanwhile, the row between Baba Harare and social media personality and gospel artist, Denzel Tadiwa Maveve, is showing no signs of easing any time soon.

Denzel has revealed that he had decided to stop engaging in the public exchanges and would instead allow their fallout to be handled through legal channels.

“After taking time to reflect on everything that has happened between me and Baba Harare, I’ve decided that I will no longer respond through social media,” he said.

“What started as online exchanges has now crossed a line by involving my family and I believe that is unacceptable.

“I have, therefore, decided to pursue the matter through the proper legal channels by reporting it to the relevant authorities and seeking legal advice regarding cyberbullying and any other applicable issues.

“This isn’t about revenge or creating more drama. It’s about setting boundaries and protecting the people I love. From this point forward I’ll allow the appropriate processes to take their course.”

The dispute between Denzel and Baba Harare has generated significant attention in recent weeks.
