A WOMAN from Dzivarasekwa suburb in Harare has brought her sister-in-law to court alleging that she insulted and threatened to bomb her house.

Ms Jane Sepano made the allegations against Ms Sekai Mutimbanyoka at the Harare Civil Court on Tuesday.

She told the court that Ms Mutimbanyoka insulted and threatened to bomb the house she bought from the latter’s late husband.

“She insults me, saying that I am a prostitute in our neighbourhood. She told my neighbours that I am HIV positive and that is the reason why I am always sick,” she said.

“She sent her children to insult me in public. She threatened to petrol bomb and burn my house.”

In her defense, Ms Mutimbanyoka denied the allegations, arguing that the house still belongs to her and that she is in the process of having Ms Sepano evicted.

“I stay in another house and the house that she is claiming I want to bomb is mine,” said Ms Mutimbanyoka.

“She wants to use the protection order to stall the eviction process,” she said.

Presiding magistrate Ms Meenal Narotam dismissed the case and directed them to the right court to finalise the eviction process.
