THE sixth edition of the Zim Community Trailblazers Awards (ZCTA) is set to be held on Friday night in Harare.
The event will bring together Zimbabwe’s top achievers, dignitaries and community leaders to recognise and celebrate outstanding individuals and organisations who are making a significant impact in their communities.
“The ZCTA is a benchmark for excellence in Zimbabwe, recognising individuals and organisations that are driving positive change, innovation, and community development,” the organisers said.
“This year’s event promises to be an unforgettable night of glamour, recognition, and inspiration, with a star-studded line-up, including one of Zimbabwe’s greatest musicians, and a special guest appearance by the Minister of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services, Honourable Jenfan Muswere.”
ZCTA CEO Albert Masaka said:
“We are thrilled to be honouring the trailblazers who are making a real difference in their communities.
“Their tireless efforts and dedication to excellence are an inspiration to us all. We believe that recognising and celebrating their achievements will encourage others to strive for greatness and contribute to the development of our nation.”
This year’s theme, “Unity in Diversity, Strength in Community,” is a call to action for all Zimbabweans to come together and build a brighter future.
The ZCTA is a celebration of Zimbabwe’s resilience, determination, and spirit.
Past winners of the ZCTA include notable individuals such as Nigel Chanakira, Pastor Ruth Musarurwa, Sikandar Raza, Madam Boss, Baba and Mai Charamba, and Dr Vivek and Solanki – trailblazers who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, innovation, and commitment to community development.
“We are honoured to have the Minister of Information join us on this special occasion,” said Masaka.
“His presence underscores the importance of the ZCTA in promoting community development and social impact.”
