THE Southern Africa Eco-Infrastructure Summit (SAEIS) 2026, has kicked off in Victoria Falls with delegates expected to deliberate on shaping a sustainable future for the region’s built environment.
The summit, which runs from Wednesday to Friday, has drawn a diverse assembly of Government leaders, real estate developers, investors, and sustainability experts .
Being held under the theme “Reimagining Southern Africa’s Future: AI-Driven Eco-Infrastructure for Sustainable Real Estate and Development ,” the summit aims to drive practical collaboration in sustainable housing, green urban systems, and environmentally responsible development .
The event serves as a strategic platform to mobilise public and private capital, support bankable project development, and strengthen regional collaboration to accelerate climate-aligned infrastructure .
The summit will feature a distinguished line-up of guest speakers, including the Minister of Energy and Power Development, July Moyo and H.E. Commissioner Lerato Mataboge of the African Union.
Key technical masterclasses are scheduled on Smart Cities and Finance and Investment for Eco-Infrastructure .
The summit is further expected to look into collaboration, with deliberatuons on large-scale green building and an Investment Arena Challenge Finals, where selected green infrastructure projects will pitch to a panel of investors and development finance specialists for potential funding commitments .
The summit will culminate in an awards gala dinner where investors will announce the winning projects .
The summit is expected to create partnerships between Governments, investors, private sector leaders, and innovators, positioning Southern Africa as an emerging destination for sustainable infrastructure investment .
