Preparations for the Spirit of Praise 12 Bulawayo Tour are at an advanced stage, with organisers promising another memorable night of Gospel music when the celebrated South African ensemble returns to the City of Kings on November 22.

The show, scheduled for the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) grounds, follows the ensemble’s well-received performance in Bulawayo last year and is expected to draw Gospel music lovers eager to experience its electrifying live performances once again.

The star-studded line-up features an array of renowned South African Gospel musicians, including Xola Toto, Nothando Hlophe, Mpumi Mtsweni, Sindi Ntombela, Ziyanda Tshangana, Takie Ndou, Omega Khunou, Dumi Mkokstad, Everton Mlalazi and Pastor Mthunzi Namba.

Organisers are expected to unveil the local artistes who will join the impressive line-up in the coming days.

The ensemble’s return comes on the back of last year’s successful Bulawayo performance, which drew Gospel enthusiasts and reinforced the city’s appetite for large-scale live Gospel productions.

Excitement is already gathering momentum, with fans taking to social media to express their eagerness to attend the November show.

One fan, Praise Chibinjana, said she had already secured her ticket and was prepared to travel from Harare for the event.

“I have secured my ticket all the way from Harare and I will be there,” she said.

Another fan, Nomsa Florence Majama, said she was eagerly awaiting the ensemble’s return to her home city.

“I have been waiting for this. I can’t wait to see my favourite Gospel outfit performing live in my home city,” she said.

Spirit of Praise has established itself as a major force in African Gospel music, bringing together celebrated vocalists for powerful ensemble performances that blend worship, live instrumentation and energetic stage delivery.

Its return adds another major attraction to Bulawayo’s entertainment calendar, with the November 22 show expected to offer fans an opportunity to experience some of the continent’s celebrated Gospel voices under one roof.
