Sport – Zimbabwe Chess team off to Colombia

ZIMBABWE Chess Federation hosted a send off ceremony for the Colombia-bound under 16 team in Harare on Tuesday.

The team is eager to leave a mark as they make a debut appearance at the Fide World Under 16 Olympiad set to be played in Colombia this month.

Ammith Boddapati (highest ranked), national U16 champions Danmore Mashawa and Carol Ndlovu and Amyra Jain who comes in as the wildcard, make the team.
