Squash honours St Johns

THE Mashonaland Squash Association successfully held its end of season prize giving ceremony last Friday at Old Georgians with St Johns’ team walking away as the winners.

The event marked the revival of a cherished tradition celebrating the achievements of squash clubs and players across the province.

St John’s B were ahead of Country Club A who came second as Nomads Squash Club A were third on the podium.

The second League singles format also saw St John’s Squash Club claiming the top spot.

In the individual categories, seasoned Robbie Taylor won the season ahead of Rob Hammond as Brendan Reilley was third.

Belgravia B were crowned third league champions ahead of Old Georgians.

The bank segment saw AFC coming up tops ahead of ZB Bank with FBC Bank third.

The Banks teams were hailed as they demonstrated their prowess beyond calculators, showcasing strong skills on court and adding excitement to the competition.
