Musician Nisha Ts believes that her work is inspired by the importance of staying true to oneself, despite societal expectations.
The ‘Gender iiii Fimero’ chanter said women in arts are reshaping the creative industry, not by waiting for opportunities, but by creating them.
Born Anisha Tashinga Shonhiwa, Nisha Ts is a masterful singer in the Afro-Dancehall genre, who gained popularity through her hit single “Kutsamwa Kune Labour”.
In an interview, Nisha Ts said being part of an all-female show like Nubian Notes is a celebration of women’s strength and creativity.

“It’s a reminder of the power we hold as women when we come together in a space where I can express my art freely while uplifting others who share the same passion.”
She will share the stage with Feli Nandi, Tamy Moyo, Gemma Griffith and Shashl at the “Nubian Notes” scheduled for November 8.
“My performance is inspired by staying true to yourself, no matter what the world expects of me,” she shared. “I want the audience to feel empowered, seen, and reminded that their voice matters.”

Known for her powerful voice and authentic storytelling, Nisha T promises fans an unforgettable performance that blends emotion, energy, and purpose.
Singer started her musical journey in 2022, and released songs like ‘Draw Punchline’, ‘Kanjani’, ‘Sadza Rapera’, ‘Mhamha’, ‘Punch Punch’, ‘Kutsamwa Kune Labour’, ‘Majarajita’, ‘Vibe Rangu,’ ‘Shampopo’, ‘Distance’ and ‘Gevha’.
