Gospel musician Steff, real name Steff Paradise Munyoro, has released her latest single, “Wedenga”, featuring acclaimed worship leader AfricaPraise in a move expected to build momentum ahead of the highly anticipated Atmosphere of Worship concert next month.
The song will premiere at 2 pm today on Steff Music ZW’s official YouTube channel before becoming available on Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon Music and other digital streaming platforms.
Speaking ahead of the release, Steff Music ZW said Wedenga is a heartfelt worship song meant to draw people closer to God.
“I am excited to finally share Wedenga with the world,” she said.
“This song was birthed from a place of worship and complete surrender to God. My prayer is that everyone who listens to it will encounter God’s presence and be encouraged, regardless of the season they are going through.”
She said working with AfricaPraise added a unique dimension to the song.
“Collaborating with AfricaPraise has been a blessing,” Steff said.
“We share the same passion for leading people into genuine worship, and I believe listeners will be touched by what God has done through this song.”
Steff said the release also serves as a precursor to the Atmosphere of Worship concert scheduled for August 8 at Robbie Mupawose Hall at the Zimbabwe Agricultural Showgrounds in Harare.
“The release of Wedenga is preparing hearts for what God has in store at the Atmosphere of Worship concert,” she said.
“We are inviting people from all walks of life to come and experience an atmosphere filled with God’s presence through worship. It will be more than a concert—it will be a divine encounter.”
The Atmosphere of Worship concert will feature an array of gospel musicians, including Africa Praise, South African singer Kholiwe Ganca of Joyous Celebration fame, Ezekiel Paul and Prince Jacha, while Steff Paradise will host the event.
Organisers expect the concert to attract worshippers from across the country for an afternoon of praise, worship and spiritual renewal.
With the release of Wedenga and the countdown to Atmosphere of Worship now underway, gospel music enthusiasts have two major events to look forward to as Zimbabwe’s gospel music calendar gathers pace.
