Since its founding in 2016, EMY Africa has grown beyond an awards ceremony. It is now a multifaceted platform that celebrates excellence, promotes leadership, and shapes culture across Africa and the diaspora.

What began as a recognition event has expanded into a movement that inspires, empowers, and connects individuals, businesses, and communities through storytelling, events, thought leadership, and recognition.

Over the past ten years, EMY Africa has honoured some of the most distinguished names in African and global leadership, business, arts, sports, media, and social impact. Thapelo Mokoena’s win adds him to a prestigious list of awardees and cements his position as one of Africa’s leading actors.

From Accra to South Africa, Thapelo’s journey continues, fueled by passion, talent, and the recognition of his peers and fans. – OK
