Mzansi’s favourite siblings “Izingane zeS’thembu” are returning to screens for their fourth season in August.
Viewers who have been missing the Mseleku clan will finally get their dose of the polygamous family with the “Uthando neS’thembu” spin-off.
“Izingane zeS’thembu” follows the lives of businessman Musa Mseleku’s children as they navigate young adulthood while growing up in one of South Africa’s most well-known polygamous families.
Season four sees the older siblings Mpumelelo Mseleku, Sne Mseleku, Lwandle Mseleku, Abongwe Mseleku, and Mpiloenhle “Mpilo” Mseleku, alongside the younger generation of the Mseleku family, Mnini, Owami, Mawande, and Thando.
Familiar faces, including Khwezi Mazibuko, Tirelo Kale and Amahle Biyela, who play an important role in the family’s story, also return.
The new season teases more growth as the Mseleku siblings step further into adulthood; they must face the realities of life.
From revelations and struggling businesses to complicated relationships and the pressure of family tradition, each of them must find their own way.
With their father’s health not being what it used to be, they have to grow up and step up in taking the legacy forward; they must prove they are capable of building a future that transcends the Mseleku name.
Mzansi Magic released the trailer, sending excitement among viewers who have been missing their favourite family.
The trailer sees Sne emerging from the water, making it clear that this season she is taking centre stage and Mpumelelo’s polygamous union is very much still alive, with both of his leading ladies appearing in the trailer.
“Izingane zeS’thembu” S4 premieres on Mzansi Magic on Thursday, August 20, with new realnovela episodes on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8.00pm – IOL
