IT was all over by the break.

And, Dynamos could even afford to miss a penalty, with Jairos Kasondo firing wide from the spot.

It could have been a rout, and the Glamour Boys know it, and that should be the only concern for coach Genesis Mangombe – the chances that came and were blown away.

First-half goals from captain Shadreck Nyahwa, Christopher Nettey, and Leeroy Mavhunga powered them to victory.

Dynamos had gone six games without a win, losing to CAPS United and Chicken Inn and drawing four matches against FC Platinum, Scottland, ZPC Kariba, and Herentals.

Nyahwa scored from outside the box in the 12th minute to put Dynamos ahead with a thunderbolt that didn’t give Panashe Nyabunga a chance.

Nettey scored his first league goal for Dynamos after an exchange of passes with Kasndo.

Mavhunga made it three in the 22nd minute after the unselfish Perfect Chikwende set him up.

Mangombe said:

“I am happy. But at the same time, if you can score many goals in a game like this, you need to capitalise on the chances you get.

“Maybe we should have scored five goals. But, at the end of the day, what is important is three points.

“The boys played very well. According to our game plan, it came up well because we said we needed to finish off this game in the first half.

“I am happy that we managed to defend those three goals in the second half.”

He added:

“The major weakness we have was conceding silly goals from the crosses, from the corner kicks, which we tried and worked on at training.

“And, today, I am happy that there was no danger on that one.”

Triangle coach, Lloyd Chitembwe, said the application by his charges was disappointing.,

“The application was not on point, but later on we improved.”
