NEW YORK.— TikTok is once again flexing its music discovery muscles, as its ‘Add to Music App’ feature crossed six billion track saves in a year.

First rolled out globally in 2024, TikTok’s ‘Add to Music App’ feature lets users save a track they hear on TikTok directly to their preferred streaming platform, whether that’s Spotify, Apple Music, or Amazon Music.

Now, TikTok has revealed the tool has been used to save more than six billion tracks to streaming services over the past 12 months. That’s a huge figure that signals to artists how viral discovery can often lead to a direct pipeline of streams, chart placements, and career growth.

The tracks on top over the past year

Alongside the headline figure, TikTok also shared its most-saved tracks globally through the feature over the past 12 months too, highlighting what’s been resonating with TikTok audiences. Taking the top spot is ‘Die On This Hill’ by SIENNA SPIRO.

The track has become a global success, generating over six million video creations and gaining 16 billion video views on TikTok alone. Beyond the platform itself, the song has racked up more than 385 million streams on Spotify, while also reaching #9 on the UK Official Singles Chart and #19 on the Billboard Hot 100.

The track was followed by ‘Raindance’ by Dave featuring Tems, which has surpassed 475 million Spotify streams (#2), ‘SWIM’ by BTS (#3), ‘The Fate of Ophelia’ by Taylor Swift (#4), and ‘I Thought I Saw Your Face Today’ by She & Him (#5).
