HIP-HOP producer Trinnie Beatz dropped his ninth Ep titled ‘Cancer’.
The seven-track Ep features fellow artists such as Wastak and PCee and explores other genres such as Afro pop and rnb.
In an interview, Trinnie said the Ep is a dedication to his grandfather, who was recently diagnosed with blood cancer.
“I wanted to dedicate something for my grandfather before he passes away.
“Cancer is a very deadly disease and it’s very painful having to experience that especially if someone you love and care for has it.
“I’m going through an emotional rollercoaster and there could be no better way to express it in my art.
“The album also touches on love themes as I have suffered a lot of heartbreaks.
“It evolves on getting betrayed, finding new love and moving on.
“It is also my star sign and my mom’s too therefore, it’s one of my most personal projects,” said Trinnie.
The producer also said the Ep was delayed due to colleagues sacking the project.
“I was supposed to release this Ep earlier this year but some of my colleagues and friends left me along the way.
“This really affected my crafting space, but I carried on and I’m grateful for my fans who have been giving me the support to carry on,” he said.
