Three men yesterday appeared in court for allegedly abducting two girls and taking turns to rape them.

One of the key suspects allegedly started charging money to men who slept with the complainants without their consent.

One of the complainants is still missing.

Travolta Muchenemi (24), Kudzai Muchemeni (26), and Misheck Mavhima(29) appeared before Harare Magistrate Mrs Marehwanazvo Gofa charged with rape and abduction.

The State alleged that from October 13 to 21, the accused persons lured the complainant who is aged 17, together with her friend who is still missing and later abducted them.

The trio then seized the complainants’ cell phones to cut communications with their relatives.

The court heard the trio raped the complainants interchangeably.

Travolta who appears to be the ring leader went to look for other men who slept with the complainants and would charge them money in return.

Mr Pardon Dziva appeared for the State.
