The Politburo on Wednesday confirmed the cooption of Presidential Advisor, Paul Tungwarara, into the Central Committee for Manicaland province.

He replaced Cde Doroth Mabika who was elected Zanu PF Manicaland provincial chairlady.

Zanu PF secretary for information and publicity, Cde Christopher Mutsvangwa, confirmed Cde Tungwarara’ s cooption into the Central Committee.

“The Politburo also made deliberations on the issue of Manicaland on the selection of Dr Tungwarara as a Central Committee member. I am glady to announce that Cde Tungwarara has now been accepted as a Central Committee member of the ruling party Zanu PF” said Cde Mutsvangwa.

He was selected in the same way Dr Kudakwashe Tagwirei was coopted into Central Committee last year.

“This is an injection of the new blood, young business people with fresh ideas on how to generate wealth of this country” stressed Cde Mutsvangwa.
