CHRIS “Romario” Musekiwa and his wife celebrated their Silver Jubilee Wedding Anniversary in Harare on Friday.
And, in a way, it captured the life of their celebrity son – Denilson The Saxophonist.
The family released photos of the day Romario and his wife wed in October 2001.
The couple had two children back then.
Their first born Nyasha, who was a few years old, and their son Denilson, who was still a toddler.
Fast forward to the 25th anniversary of their wedding day, which they celebrated in the capital last Friday. Nyasha, just like her mother back in 2001, is now a mother of two.
She completed her bio chemistry degree at the University of Zimbabwe and her wedding ceremony came just a few months later.

Nyasha now works for a local company and she also runs Baketopia Bakeries, the firm which did the cake for her parents’ Silver Jubilee Wedding Anniversary.
Denilson has now established himself as the leading Saxophonist in this country.
He is in such high demand that he has become the artist of choice, for many, when they want a saxophonist to provide the sound track for their special occasions. He also played that sound track for his parents as they celebrated the 25th anniversary of their wedding on Friday.
“By God’s grace we celebrated our Silver Jubilee Wedding Anniversary on Friday at Shiloh Gardens,” said Romario.
“We thank God for taking us this far, the event yakafamba zvakanaka. Was honoured and humbled to have football friends such as Ogege and CheMhofela, Dynamos Supporters Association Harare Chapter members, former Dynamos executive secretary-general Stanley Kasukuwere in attendance.
“We truly appreciate everyone who graced the event for their unwavering support and prayers. To God be the glory.
“The highlight of the event was when Saxophonist Denilson performed during the bridal dance and we were joined on stage by other couples who were in attendance, pakafarwa, ndiMwari wakanaka.”
