Two injured after vehicles collide, one catches fire near Rio Turn-Off

Three people were injured after two motor vehicles sideswiped each other along the Old Esigodini Road, just after the Rio turn-off, on Saturday night.

According to Bulawayo Chief Fire Officer Mr Mhlangano Moyo, the accident occurred at around 8.30PM.

“Two motor vehicles in collision side swiped each other, one lost control and caught fire. Three persons injured conveyed to hospital by brigade ambulance,” said Officer Moyo.

Emergency services attended the scene and rushed the injured to hospital. The extent of their injuries had not yet been confirmed at the time of publication.
