VICE PRESIDENT Kembo CD Mohadi is reported to be in “remarkably” good health and fine spirits after being hospitalised yesterday following a sudden illness at the 23rd Annual National People’s Conference in Chinhoyi, officials have confirmed.

According to the latest update issued by the Deputy Chief Secretary in the Office of the President and Cabinet (Presidential Communications) Mr George Charamba, the Vice President was taken ill shortly after proceedings commenced on the first day of the ruling ZANU PF conference yesterday.

VP Mohadi was promptly assisted off the top table before being airlifted to the Trauma Centre in Harare for medical attention.
In a statement posted on his X (formerly Twitter) handle this afternoon, Mr Charamba confirmed that the Vice President was “now in fine fettle”.

“VP KCD Mohadi, accompanied by his counterpart, VP Dr CGDN Chiwenga, on their way to main auditorium for the second day of the 23rd Annual People’s Conference,” said Mr Charamba in his post.

“Vice President Mohadi is now in fine fettle after being hospitalised yesterday.”
