ZANU PF Mashonaland East provincial chairman Cde Daniel Garwe has called on party members and supporters to uphold unity and discipline as the country aims for an upper-middle-income status by 2030.

He made the appeal during a “Thank You” rally in Ward 3, Murehwa South Constituency over the weekend.

In his address, Cde Garwe expressed gratitude to supporters for their votes in favour of ZANU PF and provided updates from the party’s recent 22nd Annual National People’s Conference held in Mutare.

Cde Garwe said several resolutions were adopted at the conference.

“I am pleased to say President Mnangagwa will be at the helm of the party till 2030, and even beyond.

“You are the people who sent us there (to the national conference) with the resolutions and as a province we did exactly what you told us to do.

“A lot of good things are happening under President Mnangagwa. We are happy as a party. We want President Mnangagwa to continue developing this great nation.

“We want to leave a legacy and heritage for the next generation,” he said.

Turning to the programme of the day, Cde Garwe said he had been sent by the President to thank them for voting wisely and ensuring that ZANU PF remains the strongest party in the land.
