Veteran Afro-jazz and Afro-fusion musician Victor Kunonga has become the latest celebrated artiste to join Feli Nandi’s highly anticipated Fill Up HICC concert taking place on August 14, adding another heavyweight name to what is shaping up to be one of Zimbabwe’s biggest live music events of the year.
Welcoming the award-winning musician, Feli Nandi described him as one of Zimbabwe’s finest musical storytellers and invited fans to prepare for an unforgettable night of timeless music, saying she was honoured to share the stage with him as they make history together at the Harare International Conference Centre (HICC).
The announcement has generated excitement on social media, with fans welcoming Victor Kunonga’s inclusion in the Fill Up HICC line-up. Many described the pairing of the veteran Afro-fusion musician and Feli Nandi as one they are looking forward to, expressing confidence that the collaboration will add another exciting dimension to the concert.
Kunonga joins an expanding list of supporting acts already confirmed for the concert, including Fusion 5 Mangwiro, Tamy Moyo and ExQ –Mr Putiti, as Feli Nandi continues rallying some of Zimbabwe’s biggest musical talents behind her ambitious bid to become the first Zimbabwean female musician to fill the HICC.
