VICE President Dr Constantino Chiwenga is now a full member of the Roman Catholic Church’s St Joseph’s Guild following his graduation from the Guild’s final stage in Harare yesterday.

This means he has committed himself to the virtues of St Joseph — love and the duty to protect one’s family.

To become a full member of the Roman Catholic St Joseph’s Guild, one has to complete formation classes, receive a uniform/sash and make a formal commitment to serve the Church, care for family and model the virtues of St Joseph.

It was a joyous family moment, with the Vice President and his sons supported at the investiture ceremony by the VP’s wife, Colonel Miniyothabo Chiwenga, and daughter Tendai Chiwenga, who were also in attendance.

Guild teachers commended the Vice President for his dedication and commitment to the Church.

After going through the classes and completing the requirements for the final stage, the Vice President spent three days at a retreat with parishioners last weekend.

One of the teachers for the final stage, Mr Cowboy Muteto said the Vice President inspired others in the guild.

Another teacher, Dr Clemence Duri, also commended the Vice President for serving the Church despite his busy schedule.
