UK-BASED Zimbabwe-born rapper and producer Russell “Juss Russ Baby” Musakusa says he draws his inspiration from Jamaican star Vybz Kartel.
He has released a new song.
Titled “Wobble Bubble,” it is a controversial song, which is currently doing well on YouTube.
The founder of “Mos Wan’ed Records Ltd” released the X-rated video barely a year after he turned to gospel hip hop.
Speaking from his base in the UK, Juss Russ Baby said:
“I was inspired by Vybz Kartel and I believe the song will do well. This is my first solo project and it is doing well on YouTube, Spotify and iTunes.
“I wanted to reconnect with my legion of fans, ever since I ventured into gospel music I felt I should give my audience something to listen to.
“I believe that local music has the potential to go international,” he said.
Juss Russ Baby, who started his musical career over a decade ago, believes his new track will be a massive hit.
“Our musical industry is growing and, with the right sponsorship, we can easily break into the international market by being authentic to our sound just like the likes of Jah Prayzah and Winky D.
“Young and upcoming artists should learn from artists like Voltz JT and Bling 4 who have managed to make it because of authentic rap flows.
“In simple terms, keep it real.”
